Keep checking this site. We will continue to add updates that will be helpful to you as we prepare for the trip
in March. By now you have received a letter that indicates that we will be transferring through Amsterdam. Since we
have several veterans returning, this will make the trip very easy for us. Additionally, thanks to some new laws in
the Ukraine, it appears that we will not have to secure visas in the same manner that we have in the past. This will
be a terrific savings to us and will allow us to do some additional work in Bucha. We are also in contact with our friends
at ACSI. It is possible that we will try to provide some relief materials to a Christian school in Kiev. You will be notified
as soon as we have more information. Continue to pray for the trip. Pray for those folks who are struggling to collect their
$2000. This will be a wonderful experience.
All students should have their accounts funded to $1000 by the middle of November. Please avoid securing contributions
that are more than $2000 because it creates some accounting challenges for us. It will be helpful if we can be exact.
Contact Mrs. Maguire to find out exactly how much is in your account.
We will start to collect shoes in December. We will be collecting new tennis or sports shoes. Avoid collecting
used or dress shoes. Our goal is 400 pairs of shoes. Those of you who have gone before know that we will purchase
an additional 200 pairs from the street markets. Folks are welcome to contribute $15 in lieu of a pair of shoes. We will use
any donated funds for shoes to assist us in purchasing the 200 pairs of shoes we will buy over there.
This site will provide you with all the most updated information
you will need concerning the trip to Ukraine. For information beyond this contact the King's West office at (360) 377 7700.
